Fidelis Duuri (Usko)

Onze eerste Finselappenhond Usko (Fidelis Duuri) komt van de Fidelis Kennel uit Finland. De naam Usko is Fins voor trouw. 

Usko is een mooie reu met een karakteristieke expressie. Het is een spontane hond, alles vindt hij prima, wat hem een leuke kameraad thuis maakt.

Ook volgen wij gehoorzaamheidstraining, ringtraining en behendigheid met hem. Dit iedere keer weer met veel plezier.

Usko heeft inmiddels veel show titels gewonnen met als hoogtepunt de Best of Breed bij Crufts. Ook is hij Nederlands, Belgisch em Luxemburgs landskampioen.

Inmiddels word Usko ook als dekreu gebruikt en komt zijn tweede nestje er al aan. Hopelijk zal hij in de toekomst nog meer mooie pups voort brengen.

Fidelis Duuri (Usko)

Our first Finnish Lapphund, Usko comes from Fidelis Kennel in Finland. Usko means "faith" in Finnish and we thought that was a special name for this special boy.

Usko is a nice black and tan male dog with a strong and characteristic expression. He is spontaneous, very relaxed and a real friend to us. Usko is a dog who you can bring with you anywhere and who always wants to come along with you. We love his gentle nature.

We have followed obedience training, show training, sheep herding (workshop) and agility with him. Agility is his most favourite thing to do together with his girlfriend Kaija.  

When we got Usko we never suspected him of becoming an big show champion. He has won many titles already, with his top win at Crufts, hopefully more will follow. Usko is a nice show dog who loves to "show off" in the ring. Maybe you'll see us at a show sometime.

Since Usko has A hips with the highest hip score possible, is PRA DNA free and has healthy eyes he is used as a stud dog in the Netherlands but also in other European countries as well. He has produced some nice litters allready.
